About
Behind Aseptic World is a team of field service engineers and process specialists. Our experts have worked on bag-in-box and aseptic filling lines since 2004, in plants around the world: testing fills, training operators and solving problems at the filler with the people who run it.
The portal puts that experience in one place: guides you can use today, a direct line to an expert when you need one, and training that helps your operators get it right the first time.
Aseptic World is a service of Tal Soft LTD.

Questions
One problem on one line, with follow-up messages until it is answered. A new problem, or the same problem on another line, is a new question.
The target is a first reply within two working days, and faster for plant members. If your line is stopped, a remote troubleshooting session is the quickest way to get live help.
Photos or a short video of the problem, the bag size and lot number, the product type, and the stage where the problem first appears. The question form walks you through it.
No. Aseptic World gives technical guidance. Your plant stays responsible for process validation, sterilization settings and product release. Any change that could affect sterility should go through your own quality team and process authority.
Advice covers principles and good practice on bag-in-box and aseptic filling lines. Settings for a specific machine come from its manufacturer and your validated process.
Services
Book what you need, when you need it. No membership required. Members pay member rates.
A live video call with an expert looking at your line through a phone or tablet. Best for a stopped or struggling line where a written answer would take too long.
A visit to your plant to review the line, run filling tests, analyze defects and work through problems with your team at the machine.
Half-day or full-day sessions for technical teams: aseptic principles, bag-in-box defects and their causes, and filler care. Held at your site or online.
Hands-on training at your line with quizzes and team games, so the lessons stick. Ends with a test and a certificate for each operator.

Crop calendar
Harvest and processing seasons for 26 crops in all major countries. See the whole year at a glance, then pick a month to see everything processed in it and the countries that do it.
The processing year
Choose a crop group. Each ring is a crop, each segment a month. The darker the segment, the larger the share of that crop's regions processing in that month. Hover for the numbers. Click a segment to open that crop and month on the map, or a crop name to open its guide.
Hemispheres
Seasonal processing regions active each month. Year-round regions are left out so the seasons show clearly.
Month by month
Rows follow the crop group chosen on the wheel. Bars show the share of each crop's regions processing that month; numbers count the regions. Click a month to open it on the map.
Map
Show processing seasons by month, or production quantities by country.
Production figures are yearly totals by country. Pick a crop to compare countries, or switch back to Seasons to choose a month.
Calendar
Click a month heading to choose that month, or a country to find it on the map.
Seasons move with weather, variety and year, and start and end weeks vary inside each month. Map points mark the main processing region and are approximate. Every region lists its source; low-confidence entries are marked. "Open in Google Maps" opens the region in a new tab.
Directory
Highlighted crops are processed in the chosen month. Click a country to see it on the map.
At a glance
Typical published ranges. Your own product's classification depends on its measured equilibrium pH and your validated process.
| Product | Typical pH | Against pH 4.6 | Codex min. Brix | EU min. Brix | Main aseptic products |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tomato | Paste about 4.3 ± 0.3; some varieties 4.6 or higher | Watch | Juice 5.0. Purée 7 to under 24% NTSS, paste 24% and over | – | Hot and cold break paste, diced, purée |
| Peach | Fresh 3.3–4.05; canned 3.7–4.2 | Acid | 10.5 | 10.0 | Purée, concentrate, diced |
| Apricot | Fresh 3.3–4.8; purée 3.4–3.8 | Acid as purée | 11.5 | 11.2 | Purée, concentrate |
| Apple | Juice 3.35–4.0; concentrate 3.2–4.2 | Acid | 11.5 (floor 10.0) | 11.2 | Concentrate at 70 Brix, NFC juice, purée |
| Banana | Fresh 4.5–5.2; natural purée 4.8–5.0 | Above unless acidified | Not set; Brix as pressed | 21.0 | Purée, natural or acidified |
| Mango | Ripe 3.4–4.8 | Watch | 13.5 | 13.5 | Pulp, purée, concentrate |
| Pineapple | 3.2–4.0 | Acid | 12.8, acid corrected (floor 10.0) | 12.8 | Concentrate at 60 Brix, NFC juice, crushed |
| Aloe vera | Gel 3.5–4.7; fresh gel about 4.6–4.7 | On the line unless acidified | Not covered | – | Inner-leaf gel, decolorized juice, concentrates, cubes |
Products at or near pH 4.6, such as banana purée, aloe gel, some mango, pear and guava lots and some tomato varieties, and low-acid products such as carrot, pumpkin, sweet potato, peppers, papaya and coconut water, need special care. Whether a product is acid, acidified or low-acid decides its heat process and its regulatory route. Agree that with a qualified process authority and measure equilibrium pH on every batch.
